Purified Air Control

Our air purification system helps to maintain a clean and healthy environment while our visitors enjoy the indoor range. Smoke from gunpowder is quickly evacuated from the area through our ventilation system, ensuring the air quality is clean and comfortable for every visitor.

Firearm Rentals

Members and non-members alike can rent firearms from our extensive armory. Try out a pistol or rifle before you buy to see if it handles the way you like. If there’s a specific firearm you have in mind, you can browse our armory or reach out to us to see if we have it available.

Shoot Handguns, Rifles and Shotguns

Shoot rifles and handguns chambered in any pistol caliber (.500 and .460 are not permitted; your wrist will thank us). Shoot shotguns with 00 or 000 buckshot.

Lighting Conditions

With consent from other range visitors, you may adjust the lighting within the range to be at a lower or higher level. The lowest light setting replicates candlelight.

Shoot Any Distance

So long as your muzzle flash doesn’t blow the cardboard to pieces (yes, we all want to do that), you may shoot at any distance at our indoor gun range in Holliston.

Range Rules

  • The range availability is listed on our site.
  • Members must have a Mass firearms license to shoot unsupervised. Otherwise, members must be supervised by a Mass license holder.
  • Members must be at least 18 years old.
  • Members are allowed to bring 1 free guest with them on each visit. A second guest may be brought for a $15 fee. 
  • Member is responsible to oversee all guests shooting. Only one lane is to be used for members and their guest(s).
  • Only pistol caliber firearms and 12ga shotuns are allowed to be used in the range (.500 and .460 are not permitted). 
  • All firearms and all long guns must be inspected prior to entering the range. 12ga shotgun ammunition must be buckshot ONLY.
  • Always point firearms in a safe direction.
  • Always Keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot.
  • All firearm actions must be kept open at all-time unless firearm is in a holster or when firing.
  • Members and guests must check in and out at the front counter.
  • Women who are nursing, pregnant or may become pregnant are prohibited from entering the range.
  • MFS reserves the right to refuse access to the range if it is believed that someone is unsafe.
  • If unable to clear a malfunction keep firearm pointed down range and notify an MFS staff member.
  • Eye and ear protection must be worn at all times while on the range.
  • Closed-toed footwear is required.
  • All Firing must be aimed…all rounds must hit the backstop.
  • All participants must complete a release of liability form.
  • Participants will be financially responsible for damage to the facility caused by negligence or irresponsible behavior.
  • No professional firearm instruction is allowed, other than by MFS staff, without written permission from MFS.

Shooting At Our Range

Members and non-members alike are permitted to shoot at Mass Firearms School. Visitors are welcome to bring their own firearms to train with them. If you’d like to rent one of the firearms from our armory, just let us know. We also offer 1:1 firearms training instruction if you’d like to schedule an appointment with one of our instructors ahead of time.
